Case Description

Lameness is a common presenting complaint in our small animal patient’s. The young age of our patient should cause us to begin thinking about the disease processes that might be at play in a juvenile patient- congenital and developmental diseases should be on our radar as well as trauma. This case will give you the opportunity to explore a common disease complex and understand all the radiographic anatomy you must scrutinize in order to determine which of the common disease processes often lumped into the term “elbow dysplasia” so you can figure out which one is to blame.
